Hi everyone. This is one of my recent holiday photos. I am a halophile and a cyanobacteriologist by profession. . Each summer I get away from my work and relax at Lake Retba in Senegal. This lake is extremely salty and its pink colour comes from a harmless species of cyanobacteria.
